The ex-Minneapolis cop who held George Floyd down for nearly 9 minutes was in court today, and bail set at $1 Million.
Derek Chauvin had a short court hearing this morning where a judge said he can’t contact Floyd’s family, have a gun or work in law enforcement.
It Chauvin doesn’t agree to those conditions then bail goes to $1.25-million. Chauvin is charged with second-degree murder. He’s expected to make a plea at his next hearing on June 29th.
