WI LOOKS TO PREPARE FOR HOMELESS SURGE

Advocates for the homeless say the coronavirus could make things much worse for people living on the streets.

The Wisconsin Coalition Against Homelessness has a new plan to spend 70 million-dollars to help find jobs and homes for the homeless. The group’s Joseph Volk says with unemployment pushing 15-percent in Wisconsin, there could be a surge of homelessness in the state. He hopes lawmakers act now, before it’s too late.
