Drivers in Wisconsin no longer need to wait at the DMV to get a new license.
The state’s Department of Transportation says people can renew their drivers’ license online. The hope is to clear a backlog of nearly 80 thousand people who’ve had their driver’s license expire since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak. DMV Administrator Kristina Boardman says anyone between 18 and 64 who has not seen a change in their driver’s status can go online and renew their license.
The 34 dollar renewal fee will remain the same. CLICK HERE TO UNPACK THE DETAILS.
