The man killed in a rollover accident near St. Croix is identified.
The Polk County Sheriff’s office yesterday said 37-year-old Robert Johnson crashed his vehicle near the intersection of Highway 35 and 160th Street Wednesday after an officer attempted to pull him over. The officer said he discontinued the pursuit after the driver failed to yield, and later received a report of a rollover crash.
Officers identified the car as the vehicle from before. The crash is still under investigation.
