CLUBS, BUT NO CLUB SANDWICHES

For now, golfers will have to wait for food and beverage on the course.

According to the Eau Claire City-County Health Department, Governor Evers initial Safer at Home order said no food or beverage on the premises, and the department took that as the entire golf course, not just patio and picnic areas.

This wouldn’t allow golfers to consume anything purchased on-site or while they play. Eau Claire Golf and Country Club General Manager Peter Palacios said the guidelines have changed several times since the new order went into effect, and he wishes there was consistency in messaging between local and state government agencies.
