The Wisconsin Supreme Court is taking a close look at the state’s Safer At Home order.
The court issued a statement Friday saying the court will consider two arguments regarding a lawsuit filed by state Republican lawmakers on the matter. The first is whether Department of Health Services Secretary designee Andrea Palm’s Safer At Home order violates state statutes. The second is whether closing all non essential businesses, prohibiting non essential travel and making everyone stay home exceeds the authority of the office of Secretary Palm.
The justices will convene via video conferencing at 10:00-a.m. this Tuesday morning to consider the issue.
