Fishing season opens this weekend.
Eau Claire City-County health officials are reminding people to fish only those in their households and maintain at least six-feet of social distance. Public health officials encourage fishing close to home to help prevent community spread of COVID-19. Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources say they’ll be checking for boat registrations, fishing licenses, and making sure people are staying safe.
