VOTE FOR ABSENTEE?

A federal judge in Madison says Governor Evers and Republican lawmakers have failed to get the state ready for an election in the middle of a pandemic.

Judge William Conley yesterday said neither the governor nor the legislature stepped-up to provide guidance as to how next week’s election should be held. Conley didn’t rule on three lawsuits that ask to postpone the election.

He said he’s leaning against that, but is willing to let local election managers count some absentee ballots that come-in after Election Day.
