The state of Wisconsin is asking people to file for unemployment online.
The state’s Department of Workforce Development yesterday said it saw a record number of calls and claims last week. At one point on Thursday DWD said it saw 400 thousand calls in four hours. In all, over a million-and-a-half people reached out to the unemployment office. More than 115 thousand people filed an unemployment claim.
