Another top commander at the Wisconsin National Guard is out of a job.
The state’s adjutant general yesterday fired Colonel James Locke from his post at the Milwaukee-based 128th Air Refueling Wing. General Paul Knapp says he lost confidence in Locke’s ability to command, partially because of misconduct allegations. Locke is the latest commander to be replaced after an investigation into sexual misconduct claims showed that Wisconsin Guard commanders swept some allegations under the rug.
