An Eau Claire mom is gaining traction with an idea to hang butterflies in some residents’ windows.
Renee Sommer started the ‘Eau Claire Window Scavenger Hunt’ Facebook group to encourage residents to hang colorful, printed butterflies in their windows. Sommer says she got the idea from a community in Canada doing something similar for people wanting to get outside as they adjust to life under ‘Safer at Home’ orders.
Over 500-people have joined the group since last Friday and more can join by sending a request to the Eau Claire Scavenger Hunt Facebook Page.
