An Eau Claire hospital is taking steps to protect mothers and newborns from the spread of COVID-19.
H-S-H-S Sacred Heart Hospital is limiting the number of visitors for each woman in labor to one person. The hospital says newborns are at a higher risk for COVID-19. Nurse Kayla Lombard says the hospital is also screening all patients, visitors, and staff members to protect everyone at the hospital.
