The Ho-Chunk Nation’s casinos are still open.
In a Facebook post, Ho-Chunk Nation President Marlon WhiteEagle said the half dozen tribal casinos around the state of Wisconsin are operating normally for the time being. He says staffers are in constant contact with state public health coronavirus updates.
He says staffers are disinfecting all equipment at all casino locations. WhiteEagle says casino closures are under consideration. He says protecting the health of all tribal people, casino employees and customers is the Ho-Chunk Nation’s primary objective.
