People across Wisconsin don’t have to worry about losing their electricity during the coronavirus outbreak.
Wisconsin’s Public Service Commission on Friday ordered utilities in the state to stop disconnections. Wisconsin is still under its winter disconnection moratorium, but commissioners say this new order extends the ban on turning-off the power past the usual April 15th deadline.
The PSC is also telling utilities in the state to make a ‘reasonable effort’ to reconnect anyone who’s had their power shut off.
