One of Wisconsin’s new judgeships could be coming to Eau Claire.
Governor Tony Evers signed a law yesterday that will create 12 new courts across the state. Eau Claire is one of the communities that has requested a new judge. It remains to be seen where the judges will end-up. The governor says the new courts will be assigned based on need.
