PLEA DEAL KEEPS WOMAN OUT OF PRISON

A plea deal will keep a Barron County woman out of prison after her boss says she stole over 50 thousand-dollars.

Prosecutors last week agreed to allow Amber Hirsch of Cumberland to plead guilty to two misdemeanor theft charges. The D.A. says she stole money that was supposed to go into the ATM at the Cumberland BP station where she worked.

Her boss also says he caught her playing scratch-off tickets without paying for them.
