MORE FEET ON THE GROUND TO REDUCE EC CARBON FOOTPRINT

Eau Claire wants more people walking and biking to reduce the city’s carbon footprint.

Reports say the city is considering starting a bike or scooter share program as part of the Renewable Energy Action Plan.  The city is also considering adding more sidewalks and bike lanes and introducing incentives for public transportation.  These ideas were discussed at last night’s city council meeting.
