Most people who are getting their ballot by mail this spring will get just one.
The Wisconsin Election Commission yesterday decided to clarify the process for absentee ballots this spring. The commission, earlier this year, told election clerks that state law requires them to mail two ballots to voters for the April primary. The Election Commission yesterday reversed that idea.
Now, only Wisconsin voters that are overseas or in the military will get two ballots. Everyone else will get one.
