There is a confirmed case of chronic wasting disease in Dunn County.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources last night talked with hunters and conservationists about what comes next. DNR says the deer was found just outside of Menomonie. It is the second confirmed case of CWD in a wild deer after the 2019 hunting season.
DNR says there are also positive CWD cases in Eau Claire County. They are working to see if there is a connection.
