It’s unclear if the elderly driver who ran down a six-year-old in the northwoods will face charges.
The Waurasha County sheriff yesterday said a 76-year-old man was driving down the shoulder of the road when he hit and killed the little girl as she was waiting for her school bus in the tiny town of Plainfield. The sheriff is not saying if the man was arrested, or if charges will be filed. Investigators say it looks like he was trying to pass the bus when he hit the girl and her sister.
