The latest plan to help farmers and dairymen at the Wisconsin Capitol includes two tax cuts.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday said one tax plan would allow farmers, and some other small businessmen in the state, to deduct the cost of health insurance from their taxes. The other idea is a straight-up property tax cut for farmers.
Vos said he hopes to have both plans to the floor of the Assembly for a vote before the end of the month.
