Southeast Wisconsin is about to be a gummy bear hub.
HARIBO, the world’s largest gummy bear maker, yesterday announced plans to open a facility in Pleasant Prairie. The new plant will sit on almost 140 acres, and managers say there will be ‘hundreds’ of new jobs. It is HARIBO’s first ever North American plant. The hope is to break ground later this year.
