It was pen to paper today at our Capitol. Governor Tony Evers signs 16 bills at the state capitol including one dealing with dyslexia and related conditions.
The bill requires an advisory committee be formed to develop a guidebook with the screening process, intervention and instructional strategies for those students dealing with dyslexia. The guidebook is expected to include a description of the screening process and tools to identify dyslexia and a description of resources and services related to dyslexia.
