The city of Eau Claire is inching toward spending a million-and-a-half dollars on the new Sonnentag Center.
The city council last night got an update on the project. UW Eau Claire is looking to build a new events center, and planners said the city can help make it an even bigger center. The hope is for the city to approve the investment tonight. UWEC hopes to break ground on the project this summer.
