A new report says Foxconn’s founder is looking to have the plant in Mount Pleasant up and running by the end of the year.
Bloomberg News reported yesterday that Foxconn founder Terry Gou told employees at the company’s New Year’s party in Taipei that he expects the new plant to start production this year. Gou told the workers that he plans to spend more time in the U.S. this year, and wants to focus on boosting manufacturing and building a supply chain.
