Prosecutors in Dunn County say the suspect in last week’s beating death outside of Colfax told police that he exploded after years of abuse.
The D.A. yesterday said that 51-year-old Gary Styer admitted to beating his father to death with a two-by-four last week. Styer told investigators that his father abused him going back to his childhood, and he finally exploded.
Styer is being held in the Dunn County Jail on 250-thousand-dollars cash bond.
