The Department of Health Services says a child has died from the flu in southeastern Wisconsin. Officials said yesterday that a child under 10-years-old died on the way to the hospital.
It’s unclear if they were vaccinated. The DHS says 15 people have died from the flu in the state so far this season, but this was the first child death.
