Hopefully oyur weekend isn’t being spent on the couch with the flu, but for many people, that’s where they are planted.
Healthcare clinicians in Wisconsin are seeing a big jump in the number of flu cases. The Centers for Disease Control moved the state from low-level activity to high activity in recent days. Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee reported nearly 830 flu cases in December with nearly 50 needing hospitalization.
Last year there were just nine flu cases at the hospital in December.
