The court fight over Wisconsin’s proposed voter purge is getting more complicated.
Republican state lawmakers this week hired their own attorneys to represent them in the case that could remove 234 thousand people from the state’s voter system. The lawmakers say they don’t trust Wisconsin’s Democratic Attorney General to represent them. The case is likely headed to the state’s Supreme Court.
