The lawsuit over who will be removed from voter rolls across the state of Wisconsin could be growing.
The League of Women voters yesterday asked a judge in Ozaukee County to join the case. The question before the court is when can the state remove someone from the voting system. Current law says the state must remove people within 30 days after a move.
But the League says some of the people who were removed from voting lists last year simply hadn’t voted in a long time. The Wisconsin Institute For Law and Liberty says Wisconsin must clean-up its voter rolls in order to make sure that only people who are eligible to vote, do.
