The first weekend of deer season in Wisconsin ended with four people shot.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources says two of the victims accidentally shot themselves. One hunter wounded a woman while shooting at a running deer, and the fourth victim was shot in Washburn County, in northern Wisconsin. DNR says the shootings are a reminder for hunters to be safe while in the field.
