As the global recycling market continues to shift, Dunn County officials says they’re facing a crisis on the local level.
In the face of a nearly 300-thousand dollar recycling budget shortfall, Dunn County is considering options like reducing hours at collection stations and possible fee increases for residents. A referendum to raise property taxes is on the table as well, in an effort to sustain the county’s recycling program long-term.
