The Salvation Army is putting out the call for bell ringers this holiday season.
The annual Red Kettle campaign kicks off in Dane County tomorrow and runs through Christmas Eve. The bell ringers are volunteers and the Salvation Army says it needs about 23-thousand-hours filled and they’ve reached 35-hundred hours. The money raised stays in Dane County and helps shelters, after school programs, disaster relief and provides holiday meals and gifts.
