This is Winter Weather Awareness Week in Wisconsin.
Last winter was one for the record books in the Badger State with heavy snow and dangerously cold temperatures. That’s why officials want Wisconsinites to be prepared for the months ahead. Emergency kits for the car should include food, water, a flashlight and batteries and blankets as well as a snow shovel, extra gloves, hats, sand or kitty litter to give wheels traction on icy roads.
