OLD COMPUTERS TO BLAME FOR VOTER RISK?

Wisconsin’s election managers are not naming the local election clerks who are using old and outdated computers.

The state’s Election Commission yesterday said five of the state’s 27-hundred clerks are using Windows XP on their election computers. Microsoft stopped offering security updates for Windows XP five years ago. Election commissioners say outdated computers put election files and voter information at risk.
