HIGH SPEED CHASE LEADS TO PRISON

A Stanley man accused of leading sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase in Clark County is going to prison.

Authorities say Dale Kortesmaki drove over 100 miles per hour, crashed into a ditch, and fought with deputies when they tried to arrest him last December.  Kortesmaki pleaded guilty in the case in September.  He was sentenced this week to two years in prison followed by seven years of probation.
