Eau Claire schools are spending more money this year, but school leaders say property taxes in the district will drop a bit.
The school board last night approved a 163 million-dollar budget. That includes about two million-dollars more from the state and more from local homeowners. Eau Claire’s property tax levy is dropping a bit, but the school district is still taking-in more because the value of the homes in Eau Claire has risen since last year.
