A man is in the hospital and another man is behind bars after a stabbing at a Chippewa Falls hotel.
Police say the stabbing happened around 2:45 Thursday morning in the Country Inn and Suites parking lot on Park Avenue. Police took the victim to the hospital and used a K-9 to find the suspect, Anthony Avila.
Police say Avila and the victim are from Dubuque, Iowa and were in Chippewa Falls for work.
