President Trump’s update on the situation along the Syrian-Turkish border means an adjustment in schedule for Vice President Mike Pence.
The vice president cancelled a visit to Marinette this morning to stay in Washington as the President made his announcement of lifting sanctions on Turkey. In exchange, Turkey agreed to stop fighting Kurdish forces in Syria. It’s not been announced whether the vice president will reschedule his trip.
