The Mississippi River is expected to get above minor flood stage to the north of La Crosse this week.
According to the National Weather Service, the Mississippi will get above minor flood stage of 12 feet at Wabasha, Minnesota sometime Friday and level out around 12-and-a-half feet.
The river is also expected to get near minor flood stage in Winona and La Crosse but stay just below it heading into next week.
