The death toll in northern Wisconsin from the man accused of shooting three people at a Wausau cemetery could have been much worse.
Police say Henry West tried to start a fire at his apartment in Schofield, and left a bomb at the house next door. They also say West set a fire in that home with an open gas line. Investigators say that could have killed 100 people had the gas line exploded.
West is facing homicide charges for the shooting at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau that left one person dead and two others wounded.
