Western Wisconsin’s congressman wants the federal government to help people find cheaper prescriptions.
Congressman Ron Kind says the Drug Pricing Action Plan would require the Department of Health and Human Services to tell anyone enrolled in Medicare’s Low-Income Subsidy program about lower-cost alternatives. Kind says helping people shop for cheaper prescriptions can go a long way to making sure that people get the medicine they need, at a price they can afford.
