EVERS PREPS FOR PARDONS

Governor Tony Evers is ready to end prison sentences for nine people in Wisconsin.

The governor will issue the state’s first pardons in nine years, later today. The governor says the people he is pardoning have all served their debt to society. The pardons are the first since former Governor Jim Doyle pardoned 100 people on his last day in office in 2010.
