After a long recess it’s back to work for lawmakers this week.
The State Senate is scheduled to convene tomorrow morning at the Capitol while members of the Assembly will begin their session on Thursday. The Senate already has about two-dozen votes lined up for consideration, but the General Assembly has not yet released its agenda. Among the proposals is expansion of the minority teacher loan program and a bill that would give widows of police officers the chance to keep the family on the police department’s health insurance plan.
