Senator Tammy Baldwin can’t believe the comments by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue during his stop at the World Dairy Expo in Madison.
In a state that has lost nearly 17-hundred dairy farms since President Trump took office the Ag Secretary today said he didn’t know if the family dairy farm can survive the changes in the industry.
Perdue said in America the big get bigger and the small go out. Senator Baldwin today said with that kind of advice it’s no wonder Wisconsin dairy farms have gone out of business, including over 550 this year alone.
