An Independence man is facing charges for multiple sex crimes.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice is charging James Killian with first degree sexual assault of a child, reported acts of sexual assault on the same child, and other related charges. The alleged crimes occurred in Trempealeau County.
The 59-year-old was prosecuted for similar charges in 2015 and 2016, but the case ended in a mistrial.
