A New Auburn man will go to prison for a year after being convicted in a home break-in and sexual assault case.
Douglas Lewis was accused of breaking into a home in May of 2017 and sexually assaulting a 29-year-old woman who lived there. Lewis pleaded no contest in May to three charges in the case and was sentenced this week to six months for sexual assault and six months for taking a car without the owner’s consent. Lewis will also spend three years on probation.
