The Town of Wheaton is continuing to recover after an EF-3 tornado hit Chippewa County last Tuesday.

There is still debris and fallen trees from the tornado a week later.  Area fire departments are seeking more volunteers to continue cleanup efforts.

The Town of Wheaton Fire Station is acting as a check-in spot for volunteers, and also has food and water donations and 400 lost items that have been turned in during the aftermath.
