There was concern earlier today about man on the lose. We have been undated and now know that the armed and dangerous subject has been arrested and is no longer a threat to the area.
33 year old Randolph L. Vestal 33 from Eau Claire Wi. was taken into custody at approximately 2:24 p.m. today. Sheriff’s Deputies made contact with Vestal when he exited a wooded area and ultimately were able to take him into custody. T
he Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Gilman Police and Wisconsin DNR assisted in the search for Vestal. At the time of this release , no report of injuries to either Vestal or law enforcement have been made.
