The state collected nearly 17-point-three-billion-dollars in taxes last fiscal year.
The increase was nearly seven-and-a-half percent over the 2018 fiscal year. Income taxes accounted for about nine-billion-dollars and sales taxes totaled about five-point-seven-billion. Cigarette and tobacco products raked in about 600-million-dollars in taxes.
